A man I date had sex with a woman 10 days ago. She now states she is pregnant. Is this possible in such a short time?

Possible but hard to believe.

Anything is possible but this is improbable. Your man should be asking for a copy of the lab results, from the clinic at the doctor's office, that say this woman is pregnant.

Even if she is pregnant. It may not be his. She may have known before she slept with him and chose him to set him up to be daddy.

The baby could be you friends or the woman could be pregnant from another encounter. Do not substitute realistic possibility for DNA testing. It is not fair for the child or your friend to believe your friend is or is not the father if you do not know the truth. If she request an ultrasound to date the pregnancy the staff you be able to guess when she conceived. Remember, if the staff says she is 4 weeks that means she conceived 2 weeks ago. The first two weeks of pregnancy are preconception.
