    Termination of parental rights
    Me and my husband would like to get my two kids fathers rights terminated so my husband can adopt them.my son is going to be four hi biological father hasn't seen him in two years my daughter I almost two and he has never seen her nor has he ever paid child support how good of a chance do I have at getting his rights terminated and where do I start?

    You have a good chance of having his rights terminated either voluntarily or involuntarily. You start by hiring a family law attorney as you will need to file various petitions with the court and may have to try to notify the bio father of proceedings (ad in the paper or a certified letter to his last known address).

    If he gets the notice and does nothing, or does not get the notice, they can do a TPR after some amount of time (varies by state). If he gets the notice, he can decide to assert his rights, but along with that would come a child support suit and he would have to pay back child support as well as future... probably not something he would want to do according to your description of the situation.
