    Kenmore Dishwasher 665 touch pad
We have a Kenmore 665.16764000 dishwasher and the Quick Rinse light either remains illuminated, or it flashes. We have unplugged it overnight, tried to start the diagnostic mode on it, etc. but nothing seems to work.

From what I have found here and elsewhere the likely culprits are the touch pad or the electronic control assembly. Is there a way that we can determine which is causing the problem, so that we can purchase and replace the offending part?

    TIA

I have a Kenmore Ultra Wash 665.15792000 with a similar problem with the Pots Pans light either remaining illuminated or flashes rendering the machine in-operable. Unplugging the ribbon connector and replugging resets the error but the problem re-occurs after one wash cycle. Do not want to replace both the touch pad and the control board.

Same question, how do we determine the offending part?
