I was just wondering if it was possible to install and format a hard drive from an old apple mac into my windows PC (to save my buying another hard drive).

I'm pretty sure that mac's and PC's use the same type of hard drives, IDE drives, and that all you have to do is format it to the FAT or NTFS file system for it to work. I'm assuming this because the same is true for floppy disks
