    Checking IDE DRIVES in hard disks
    Hi I have my 80gb harddisks when I attached it in the cpu its showing checking IDE drives and go forward there is no operating system installed in the hard disks actually I made some setiings in the hard disks even which I can't remember.so is there any method to which I can't start my hardisk I acnt show it any hardwere engg as I kept some porn and some personal things in that harddisks but they are in different drive. I want extract that .so tell me whether there is any solution for it which I can make by myself and one more thing to say that I can't also open the hardisks settings ?

    First get into the BIOS ( depending on the motherboard press F2, Esc, Del, ) check if HDD is detected. If it detected check what the boot from option selected in the BIOS.
    This should help.
    If there is porn on you hdd the technician will not come to know about it until he browses through the drive.;)
