    Air Conditioning turning off
Our air conditioner will run for a couple hours and the unit will turn off and we have to push the reset button. The unit is a new unit and we just started to run it this week. Do you have any idea why? Should we replace it with another unit?

    Thanks for your help.

What type of reset? Is it a high pressure switch? If this is the case it may just be overcharged. I need a little more info, like what type of system you have and what model.

On the front it says ARTIC CIRCLE. This unit was a replacement for a united we had from Fedders. We didn't get a paper on it. The service man came and replaced it with a unit that we had before that was wired wrong and basically fried all the wires and the feion was leaking from the unit. I hope this helps... we are getting really frustrated because it is a new unit and it shouldn't do this.

    Thanks:D
