Why do people say they are 'going out'?
What I don't get is how people can say they are going out without actually going on a date with them? ITS STUPID!! I don't get it, someone's like, "hey gurl, so you wanna be my gurlfriend?" and the girls like "ummm...yeah...." and they don't even go on a flipin date!! Can someone explain that to me? I mean really, please explain it fully to me... am I just stupid or something?

I completley agree! It's just a term we now use for boyfriend and girlfriend. Kind of like "Going Steady".
