    Troy-bilt riding mower steering problems
I'm having problems with the steering on my troy bilt mower. It turns left OK but when you go to turn right it seems the steering gears are not connecting. I sent it in to change the d upper and lower drive belts and they also changed a couple of pulleys. When I got it back the steering seemed to stick and eventually this is the problem I ended up with. The steering arms seem fine, I replaced the ball joints and the steering pinion gear and the steering gear doesn't have any teeth broken off it. It seems as though the two gears are not connecting very well. The steering arms were replaced last summer. What could be the problem?

When you put the pinion on wae it lined up properly aligned with the sector gear. Sounds to me like it isn't
