    Perspiration odor in sports equipment
How do I get out the perspiration smell in my son's football, hockey and lacrosse pads?

That is a question all moms would like answered, but I am sure dr. scholls could take care of it a powder he makes, or use fabreeze quite often. But basically, that's what sports is all about... the smell!

Lay them out in the full sun, that'll kill off some of the bacteria. The key is good ventilation; take the stuff out of the bag often. Please don't overdo it with the Febreeze, the teasing he will get will be worse than the original smell. :D

Sprinkle baking soda in the bag and on the equipment... worth a try.
