I was summoned to appear in court on 4/15/05 for a delinqeunt debt to a credit card company. On 4/28/05, I filed bankruptcy but on my credit report the company filed a judgement on my report on 5/5/2005. Can they put a judgement on my credit after I have filed bankruptcy?

Have your debts been discharged, or are you still processing the bankruptcy? Was that debt included if discharged? You need to bring it up to your bankruptcy attonrey if you are still in process.

Yes, the debt was included in the bankruptcy and I was dishcarged 9/05. I will speak with the attorney's office. Thanks for your response!!

Yes they can but big deal it's just there let it slide they isn't going to put you in jail... everyone is weirded out and scared trsut me let it slide man are they going to make jails for millions of people in debt... lol
