    Light out for instrument cluster
94 honda accord: my instrument lights are out. I removed the 2 screws a above instrument cluster but wasn't sure how to proceed.

. Check all under-dash and under-hood fuses with a test light or multimeter. Here's how to do it:

. The ignition switch and harness provides power to the instrument panel; therefore, you might want to check it out.

The problem turns out to be the dimmer switch. I removed the cruice button, dimmer and the defogger for the back window. There must be another screw holding the restin, I wqs able to get the dimmer out and jump the leads to verify the problem. Thanks!

I was able to determine that the dimmer switch was bad, I jumped out the leads and the lights worked. I was unable to get the dash part completely off though. The screw on the far right I was unable to locate. I am able to repair with out removing it, but would be interested in how.
