No, it is not weird and it is not gay. But if you think it is, then that is your issue. But I am telling you it is not something to make a problem out of.

For a guy, yeah it is, maybe just tell him it's creeping you out. Sometimes we men just have to be told, do this do that etc. He might think you are really liking it.
