Burn 2 TV episodes onto 1 dvd
Have tried to burn 2 episodes of a TV show to 1 dvd without success.
I recorded both episodes using a dvd recorder(similar to vcr recorder, note-no hard drive) copied them to the hard drive of my computer (placing in different folders)
    This was OK.
Then I tried to copy both folders to 1 dvd using nero. This did not work(I was getting a message stating that files already existed.I think this is because the file names in both folders are the same, referring to vts files etc.)

I tried doing 2 images and then combining them onto the 1 dvd but it would only do one or the other.

    Any suggestions please.

This is only a suggestion but, If the files in the folders are the same name they may not copy. Also have u check the size of the 2 Episodes to make sore they will fit on the DVD. Also with out knowing your ROM capitbility's, it could also be the type of DVD-R or RW that u are using. Have you ever been able to copy before with the DVD's brand u are using. Some DVD-R and RW willn't work with sortion ROM. So I always use the recommanded brands to copy with weather CD-R or CD RW.

Also if you are using Xp you don't actual need to use Nero to copy Files to CD or DVD. To Copy files using Xp all You do is Select the File or Files Press both at same time Ctrl C to copy then enter your CD Rom or DVD rom and press Ctrl V which paste it temporaly to the Rom. Then click on Write these files to CD or DVD. Then follow instructions to copy. Copy and paste can also be found under Edit heading.

    If this helped rate it

Thanks to Dchdman for your reply.
Since my post I have overcome the problem by re-authoring each folder in nero separately then burning the one title. This worked.
