Um, I feel kind of stupid asking, but I am kind of training to be a cheerleader, and I was wondering if you remmeber the cheapest mat you ever saw?because I lkive with a single parent and she works hard enough and really can't spare 500 for a mat that isn't even that long.so if you know of any cheap places 2 look then it would be appreciatedc

Are you interested in just some panel mats?

If you want a thicker landing type mat, $500 is going to be a relatively good price.

Sometimes you may get lucky if you can find a school that has yearly "garage sales" and they are selling some of their old mats. You can get some really good prices there. If you are in a big enough city you may be able to check around yet this year and find some.

There are some schools that will not sell equipment for liability reasons so just know that you may find some of those too.

Have you tried looking (asking) on Freecycle in your area? Might be some retiring cheerleaders out there (or Mom's tired of giving houseroom to one) that will pass one along for free.
