What I remember is a girl buying a older blue covertable car in it was the ghost of a pretty girl whom owned the car first but was killed in a car crash of some kind because of her boyfriend and she tries to stop the girl who bought her car from making the same mistake she did and getting killed. I think the movie was in the 80's or 90's just can't remember the name.:confused:

It's not Susie Q, but you're right about how it sounds like it! In Susie Q, her and her boyfriend are on a bridge heading for prom when his car stops working and they can't turn it back on before a group of teens driving drunk hit them. Susie and her boyfriend are knocked off the bridge and die. Years later a family moves into her old house, and the older boy starts seeing Susie's ghost everywhere. She can't move on to Heaven until she helps her parents with something they were supposed to do the night she left for prom, and asks the boy and his sister--who can't see her--to help her.
