    Loan crazy
HI, I live in Ontario CANADA!

I am a co-signer on an ex-boyfriends loan, desperately trying to have myself removed.

I am also going to be getting married to a great guy in 5 months and was wondering if the ex stops paying the loan can it ever effect my husband to-be?

    And,

Do we have to look into getting some type of pre-nup to protect him?

Thank you for taking the time to read and asses my question. I eagerly await your answer.

If you are a co signer then you are libel if your ex skips out on the load, that's why they wanted a second signee. And yes, I think it would effect your husband to be because he is the legal bread winner in the family. I don't know if a pre nup will absolve your new husband, better ask a lawyer. And in a case like this, it is best you do seek legal advice.
