    Hampton Bay Ceiling Light
Ceiling Fan 52" Tahiti Breeze Model 344470 Hampton Bay

The ceiling light has been install for about 1 1/2 yrs. (light not installed), I'm using an Universal remote Control Harbor Breeze 43147.

    Q. The switch plate has two switches one for the hall light and the other for the ceiling fan, the hall switch works. When pressing the remote the fan does not activate. I've open the switch housing plate I can not locate the sensor for activating the fan motor. I went to Lowe's and found the same remote but the sensor switch that come with it seems to be pretty large for the fan I have. I've changed the batteries in the remote.

    1. where is the remote sensor located,

    Thanks

The Remote unit is under Canopy(at ceiling) if dip switches, need to match.
Try not to move around too much, Experienced Electricians can have problems tucking in wires and remote(Tight Fit)
    Verify Batteries good.
