What to do when your hair is spotty after dying?
I have recently been through a roller coaster with my hair coloring in the past month.
My hair is natuarally a mousy brown, but I've always had it dyed blond for years. A couple months ago I decided to go black. Then, after a while, I decided to go back to blond. I thought that by gradually lightening it, it would be the easiest way. I used a light brown ash dye on my hair, which worked great just 3 weeks ago. Then, 2 days ago I used a hair color remover on my hair thinking it would work better to put the blond on without getting orangey. I suppose it wasn't used evenly on my hair, so some parts of my head was white blond, while other parts were still brown, and others were a strawberry blond. It was very spotty and uneven. Just last night, I used a blonde hair dye on my whole head, trying to use more dye on the darker spots. However, when my hair was finished and dry, I still had the same spotty/streaky parts in my hair, it was just all a little lighter. Now, I cannot hide how terrible this dye job was with pulling my hair back or even wearing a hat. I don't want to dig myself further in this hole I am already in without asking for some advice first. Should I try the hair color remover again? Will I ever be able to get my hair color even?

    Thank you!

Dyeing your hair a lot can cause damage and breakage. Do not apply another hair color remover on your hair, it will only make matters worse. You will need to do a corrective color. Consider going a salon and get a hairstylist or colorist to fix your hair.
