I've been having weird dreams lately. A couple of times I was in a plane crash. Just last night I dreamed part of my house was on fire. Not the entire house, just around me. I've also had dreams about my deceased brother. Those are just a few examples. Any ideas?

IMO... probably stress related dreams.

Dreams are great.
They are like memories, except most of the time we make them up. They are framed around our current thinking, and what's on our mind. These dreams are normal considering you have had thougts of death in the recent past. It's interesting that none of these dreams point to suicide. They are all associated with things out of your apparent control. Unsuspected dying. The dream about your brother, may be about you wishing you were him, but you want it to happen unsuspectingly.
Without more details about the dreams, it seems to me that they are pointing to death, but in a way that you can't control, so maybe you won't feel guilty about abandoning your loved ones.
