If you are renting a home and the house has been foreclosed on does the bank have to help the tenant with first, last in security deposit when finding a new home to rent?
No, the bank only has to help itself. The bank has no obligation to a tenant.
No, they will help with a sheriff officer to move your property to the curb if you don't get out on the date they tell you to.
The lease if VOID when it is foreclosed and they don't have to honor anything. You can try and sue the previoius owner for your deposit back, but most likely since he is broke, thus lost the house, you won't even see it either.
No rights what so ever except to get out.
