    Very confused!
My boyfriend and I have been together for a few years. I got pregnant last August and we were fighting all the time, he didn't want me to have the baby so after a few weeks I decided to have an abortion. Now it being May I just found out that I am 15 weeks pregnant. I had a one night stand on Feb 17th which would make me 13-14 weeks. I do not remember when my last period was. After the abortion I bleed for weeks and weeks I didn't know if it was a period or if I was still bleeding. My boyfriend is very excited about this baby and I don't even really know the other guy. I don't know if I could go through with another abortion but I can not have a child with a man that I don't even really know. Is there any way for me to find out excatly how far along I am with out knowing the exact date of my last missed period? What should I do?? I need a lot of help!

I would ask the doctor for an internal sonogram, that may be the best way to tell. My other advice is to perhaps protect yourself from unwanted pregnancies. A lot of people get pregnant by mistake once, but any more than that is just carelessness on your part.

They will take measurements in a sonogram and determine the age of the baby if you do not know the date of your last period. Many women do not know this. The last time you had a period though just tells the doctor that sometime between then and your first missed period you conceived. You will probably never know the exact date... sometime in the 30/31 days you got pregnant. At around 18-20 weeks (maybe sooner in your case, because you found out so late in pregnancy) you will receive a sonogram and they will determine the baby's age pretty accurately... and most likely the sex as well... good luck!

Only your dr can tell for certain. Make an appointment, and ask lots of questions. Don't be afraid to ask them either.
