Have you checked for a tripped circuit breaker?

Do you have power to the GFI?

Also, GFI's do fail and need to be replaced.

I have done your suggestions prior to replacing the GFI. However, the GFI still has no power.

I have done what you have suggested and replaced the GFI. The GFI still has no power.

Is the breaker tripped? It happens sometimes, even though you probably already checked that. Just a suggestion.

Just a thought from something my father did a few years ago in the process of wiring his own home.

He had a GFI that wouldn't reset and found no power etc.
After about four or five days of fighting the problem he found that he had accidentally put two GFI Circuits in series and one of them was in an under-sink cabinet.

He was thankful that he hadn't done it in someone else's home.

He took a lot of ribbing about being "Double Safe" from the rest of the family for quite a while.

Do you have power coming into the outlet? If not, throw the breaker all the way to off and then back on. If you still don't have power on the incoming line, check the connections in any junction boxes.

I will check the junction boxes. Thank you.
