    Murray riding mower
My Murray riding mower has decided to stop moving. I have one of those "automatic" mowers that move by pushing the pedal forwards or backwards. This past Saturday, I was mowing and it just stopped moving. The motor runs great and the deck blades still turn but there's no movement. The mower is only a few years old. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks. John

Check the belt from the engine to the transmission. Do this with nthe engine off. It should be tight as can be and loosen a bit when the clutch brake pedal is pushed. The belt may have stretched or come off the tensioner pulley.

Also check fluid in trans. If you have a trans neutral rod, be sure it is pushed all the way in
