    My Bipolar aunt
It all started when she got a tummy tuck... that where all the problems came from...
Well after her surgery she became verry deppresed and she alwas ran away from home... The family has about 8-10 years in the same thing taking care of her and making sure she doesn't leave... Just the other day she left my house... We did know she might have gone to New York because her kids live there... ok that's fine but if only she would have tell us... then she got the bus to come back home to us... but she didn't come home she told the bus driver to take her to Philadelphia... well she doesn't know any one over there... so we were very worried because we didn't knolw who she was going to be with or where she was going to stay... I called her cell phone and I guess she cliked the button to turn on instead of turning off and I heard when she said that she does not drink beer or run only wine... we were woried because she takes medications and she can't drink... well getting to conclusions... shes been diagnost with Bipolar and Schizophrania mental diseas... we don't know what to do with her she's been in different mental hospitals but they end up sending her home because if you see her she looks like a normal person verry pretty and dresses really nice... we want advise and if anyone has a familymember with this problem pleas give us some advise I will do the same thank you and may God Bless:o

A family member has this problem and he went through many years of being misdiagnosed as only being depressed. He has now tried several different medications and is very calm and balanced now with a very low dose of Lithium. Perhaps your Aunt should talk to her doctor and try a different medication. The current one doesn't seem to be working very well

You stated that it all started with a tummy tuck... any kind of additional stress can aggrivate the situation. Going under the knife is a stressful thing, even for a tummy tuck! I should have added - Maybe she needs to see a Psychiatrist who specializes in pharmacology. Search for a good one, good luck.
