    Adoption rights
I have a two month old son, but his father is getting married in a couple months, and I'm getting married in about 5 months. I was wondering about adoption, because my fiancé wants to adopt my son. If my ex is agreeable, will this terminate his rights and terminate him having to pay child support?

So even the child support he wouldn't have to pay anymore?

That what both being yes means. When someone adopts a child they take full responsibility for that child.

YES, if you get married, and your new husband adopts then the real father has no more rights and does not have to pay child support.

If he does not agree, then your husband will not be able to adopt normally
