    Downloading- connection resetting
    Hi I'm new here.

Basically I've recently been having a problem with downloads...
When I start a download every things fine but if I try looking on the web as well as download it crashes out and says "connection with server reconnected".. ( and this hasent happened to me any other time up to this week)
I normaly just download demo games from good websites such as gamespot.com or others but I defently know the problem is on my end because when I try other websites for downloads the problem keeps happening.

I have just downloaded spybot and it located dso(5) but when I looked on the web people ( on this site for one) said it was OK as I have a up to dait PC with all xp updates(?)
Or could it be that my connection is slow at the moment ? ( I'm on broadband)

    Press2Esc
Not sure my earlier reply made it...

Go to DOS (Start>Run>Command) Try to ping yourgame site (e.g. gamespot.com). If applicable, post your results.

    Ping -n 10 -l 1000 YourGameSite
Your should get (4) Replys back.

    Alternately you can run Traceroute
    Tracert YourGameSite

If no problems encountered, you are probably looking at an (intermitent?) broadband connection or network/internet config setting. If applicable, post your results.
