My husband cheated on me. I stuck it out for a year. But then he stopped coming home. So I finally saw what it was doing to the kids(grand). So I took kids and moved back to my parents. He then even stopped talking to our children. It was like he jumped off the side of the earth, he just disappeared. I have been looking for him but just recently found him. It took me 3 years. The problem now is he doesn't know I found him but it looks as if he has remarried. I have never received divorce papers or documents stating a separation. You see he has married another woman before while being married to me so I don't doubt that he has done it again. How can I find out if he has filled for a divorce since I don't know when and where it happened. He also is a Navy retrieree so am I still susposed to get half of his retirement? What do I do?

Contact an attorney and do it asap. You need to find out what your husband has been up to. Maybe even hire a private investigator. With his social security number, I am sure court records can be found. Did you keep any documents of his, such as something with his social security number on it?

This man, if he is a bigamist, needs to be in jail. Good luck to you.
