    80's movie
I am trying to remember a title of an old 80's movie that had to do with a young woman who had a child living off the streets and in shelters until one day she planned for Social Services to come to the park to take her "abanded" daughter and give her a nice home.

If this rings a bell to anyone, I would be grateful.

It was called -God Bless the Child. There was another movie with a similar or same title.
This movie was a real tear jerker.
The blonde actress (cannot think of her name) she played Rob Lowe's girlfriend in another movie with Demi Moore too.
