I think that is the least of their problems.
Oh. They have problems? Like what? I thought Islam was an OK religion.
Can Muslim men marry women that aren't Muslim? I don't know?
They can.Quote:

OK. I see now. Thanks, Skell!Quote:

Hello! Im a muslim girl and I want to add something... Men in islam as you all said are allowed to marry a women of ANY religion as the children will be muslim like their father and because a man will be the one responsible for his wife and.. etc , for example my grandfather from my dad not mum who was muslim married a christian german woman who is my grandmother ( I love her so mch) and they had 2 sons ,my dad and my uncle and both of them are muslin although my grandmother was christian... also to mention my grandmother has joined islam and turned muslim when her first baby was 7.. not forced to by her husband but for the good of the family and because she found out how well muslims treated her and she thought islam was a good religion... on the other hand a woman must marry a muslim man like her because a man is (after all) the one who decides everything and can be a bit controlling so he can force the woman to do something illegal in her religion but it may be normal to him.. and from here where the logic comes with the rule.. but however a muslim woman can marry whoever she wants and is muslim after she is an adult. And to mention we muslim women don't have any problems who have full rights like men we can go anywhere, drive cars,go shopping ,buy sell travel wear what we want ( we are suppose to wear our clothes in a special way that covers the whole body except the face and the hands but not all women do it only the ones who want to so never will somebody come up and force you 2 wear in that manner but of course that's what pleases GOD)we also can hold any job,and even be president so we have the same rights as men! I think that there isn't any miss respect to woman by having all these rights... people should just get a better idea and seek realities not hear what people can say even if so not true... I hope I've been successful in letting you know a clearer image of a very small part of islam... :)
Iam muslim too and I think its so unfair, and I know for a fact that a man who is muslim can indeed marry a girl who is not muslim aslong as he makes sure he converts her into muslim and from the point when he marrys her he has exactly 3months to make her a mulim if she then refuses he can no longer be married to her. While a muslim woman can't marry a guy outside of Islam its simply xaraam.but many things are unfair in our religion its if you have enough faith to look over this unfairness which is probarly the question you should be asking yourself.
I am in a relationship with a muslim (me being non muslim), and she means the world to me. Knowing that it might not work kills me inside and I do not know what to do
I must had you confused with another then, my sincere apologies. Are you Christian/Jewish or what are your beliefs? It could possibly workdepending on how the 2 of you feel when others may try to intervene on your relationship and if you marry, how you will raise your children, etc.
Golden girl, I think you have me confused with someone else
