Hello. I am new to this site and had a question. I recently started having sex again after a 6 month break. I haven't used protection because we are (my boyfriend) and I are trying to get pregnant. I am due for my period in 4 days. Yesterday I thought I got my period but when I went and looked it was a dark brown. I didn't think anything of it because I usually get that after my period almost every month, but I have it again today. Should I be worried or is this normal? Do you think I'm pregnant? I haven't taken a test yet.

I don't want to burst your bubble or anyone in a situation like yours but brown discharge is usually either old blood or a menstrual cycle at it's early start.

If you're worried see your Doctor.
You can buy ovulation kits where you can test your temperature and know when you're ovulating, it's best to hold out until this time so the semen has a greater chance of doing it's job.
