Initially, I thought I'd have French drains installed, but that doesn't make sense to me because if the water has enough pressure to bubble through the concrete, it surely would overrun the drains.
Based upon my research, it looks like my only viable option is to install a sump basin and pump. Is this a correct conclusion?
If I am correct and a sump is the solution, is the location of the sump important? How do you determine where to position it? It's a large basement shold I install 2 sumps?
Are there any "how to" web references on building a sump?
Thanks in advance for your help..
