    URGENT: Calcific Tendinitis
Can anyone tell me (references would be best) how long it takes calcium deposition in the supraspinatus tendon to show up on a diagnostic ultrasound, post-trauma? Important for a legal case. I need to know how quickly calcification can occur in such a manner that it is detectable on sonographic study, post-injury/trauma.

    Thanks so much.

I believe the method of detection is MRI and calcium deposition can show up within three months, post trauma.
