    No sound on TV
We have an rca TV that works but has no sound, I do not have it connected to cable because we have not used it since moving and would like to sell it but now it doesn't work, the picture comes on the channels change I can get all other things to work except the sound

Double check the obvious stuff first - try the volume on the TV itself, just in case the volume buttons on the remote aren't working. Also make sure there are no audio cables plugged into the jacks on the back of the TV.

If your TV has a setup mode (usually found on the remote control), go into the setup and check the audio settings. It's possible that it's set to send the audio to the audio output jacks instead of the speakers. This setup would typically be used in a home theater environment where the sound is sent to an audio system with it's own speakers, and therefore the TV speakers aren't used.
If it is, then change it to speakers instead of "line out" or something similar.

If it is none of above, and good TV, and don't want to put out for repair, or no repair around.
Maybe get stereo cable converter and have audio out go into amp. Sell to buyer who is going to use through other audio source.

More than likely it's the audio transformer
