In regards to the ads, I would do a Google search for Clough Quad Cities. You will see that my ads will dominate the first three or four pages in a Google search. All of these ads are free to post. If you study how I have worded mine, you will get an idea how to word yours.

For business cards you keep it simple. Just the name of your company and your contact info. If you have a slogan you can include that. You might want to contact a marketing firm to help you design your marketing materials. Usually this is one of the best investments a startup can make.
