Perhaps vasectomy is a better option. Wink wink.

Actually it has much less risk if you want a clinical point of view.

It is easier for the man to have the procedure. I am a man, and I would say if it came down to it. We both agreed we did not want anymore children. I personally would get the procedure done. It is easier and safer that way.

Here is some info on the women's procedure. Tubal Ligation - Female Sterilization - at www.Birth-Control-Comparison.info from Cedar River Clinics

My wife may be the only woman in the world that has this point of view, but she said when we are absolutely sure we don't want anymore kids she just wants a hystorectamy (I think that's how its spelled). She said she'd rather get it done when she's young enough to recover quickly than when she's sixty and it will drag her down more, most women have to get it done at some point in their life so... why deal with the periods if u don't want more kids?
