I posted a post in another forum (womans health) or something. And got only one response so I'm going to type here. <3 This month I had sex on the 2nd and 3rd. I had intimate relations with someone and they never fully cummed or anything because I wouldn't go through with it. But there's always this chance with precum. Well on the 6th I finally done it but used protection (Condom) I spotted on the 8th but still no period. I went to the doctor and the pregnancy test was NEGATIVE & She gave me birthcontrol & she told me to start it Sunday when I start my period welll if I don't start then what am I suppose to do? Im lost because I don't need another child and I know the chances are slim but still I'm scared.

What was the date of your last period? That's the most important factor in your question but you seemed to not have mentioned it.

I think that I would test again just to make sure. As ladyb asked we would have to know the date of your lmp. It isn't unusual for a woman to be late starting her period or even skipping one due to outside influences such as stress... Was it just a urine test?

In a PM you state your last period was the 7th or 8th of the previous month, you think, you didn't sound too sure. If so, your most likely fertile days were the 20th - 25th or somewhere in there, depending on your cycle. You didn't have sex until the 6th and even your fooling around seems too late. Add to that a negative pregnancy test and I would assume your period is late for other reasons, or isn't late at all but you don't really know your cycle well enough to predict it.

I would strongly suggest you start charting, and noting changes in your body throughout the month so you know about when you're ovulating, etc. Empower yourself by being an expert on your own body, so you don't have frequent scares like this.
