    Hamster's ear
BAHAHA. I've loaded this forum with hamster posts

My hamster's ear is bent back, and there seems to be a small tear at the top. There is no blood, and she is still eating and drinking, and is still active at night. Overall she seems fine, but I noticed the ear last night before I went to bed when I was saying goodnight to her. It is her right ear, the left one is fine. :]

    ...

I'm asking if there's anything wrong with her or if there's nothing to worry about

Sweetie there is nothing to worry about. I don't know why it is, or what causes it, but many hamsters have this. Flower didn't, but a couple of the hamsters we had later did. Nothing to worry about.

You just take care of your little one and love him/her like you are.

Yeah, small animals get these sort of issues all the time - don't worry, its pretty much garunteed not to affect her in anyway

My answer stemmed from not knowing just what was required seeing as it was a very small animal. I can't relate to 'very small' and can never understand why people have them. I will be more understanding next time, I am sure. Please forgive the insensitivity.
