    Heart Racing
Last year I had a problem where for some reason my heart would start racing and sometimes palpitate. My doctor said there was nothing wrong with my heart but he advised me to lay off caffeinated beverages. Now they have come back. I had them bad last night, but I did accidentally ingest an amount of caffeine. But I've also been under some stress as of late. So I believe it is a combination of the both, but more so on the stress. I've been trying to reduce my stress. The feeling is sometimes of pressure and I, at times, have to take deep breaths to feel a bit better. I am thinking of going back to my doctor or a different one. Can anyone tell me of some ways to deal with this or if I may have something else wrong with me?

I would get a second opinion. If for no other reason, to satisfy your questions and receive education on reducing your stress and anxiety. What you describe could be nothing more than a reaction to stress but this is serious to you and your doctor should be seriously consulting you. My ex had your same symptoms and it was discovered he had Wolf Parkinson White Syndrome, which is rare but treatable.

Now I am not saying you have this - but you should get yourself a second opinion, to ease your mind and health. Good luck.
