Uninstalling Yahoo messenger failed yet again!
If my experience an education had even the slightest portion of computer attributes mixed in, Im confident at my ability to learn an effortless follow direction. The problem is very clear to me now. I am asking the wrong people to help me. Scarry part of admitting my nonproductive efforts deleting the program, is all that brain tissue providing no common since retrieving acurate instructions is a Doctor. Go figure.
I recently purchased several new computers for my small practice 3 of witch have internet access. Shortly there after an employee installed or granted access to one of theses computers. After investing several globs of money to become techy adequate among my competing colleagues, in town, some completely annoying YAHOO windows mysteriously appear and consume more of my time then the original task I sat down for.
It was suggested that I go to add/remove programs an follow that to remove it shortly providing more frustration. If that computer wasn't the main computer in the network, I would have ripped it off the desk 2 weeks ago and tossed it the window of her Ford escort as she was asked to leave and not return to work ever again. Sense any hostility?

HELP! How the heck do you get rid of Yahoo Messenger! Short of explosives and self employed women with a huge plywood sculpture of a hand in there front lawn, that says readings in glitter paint!

I am really not ready to accept the fact that Yahoo messenger is going to be a aggravating fixture of my brand new computer! However the thought of donating it to the Myth Busters for my personal visual stimulation has crossed my mind on several occasions. In the past few hours I have learned that the version of Yahoo Messenger is not actually downloaded on the computer. Its some sort of version that acknowledges that specific computer when it becomes connected online to the internet. Not that it tells me much, but it may have some significance to a knowledgeable reader. Thanks again for any help you might have.

OK go to Yahoo and download the latest version of messenger.
This will over write all previous versions and also add an uninstaller program that cab then be used to remove it completely.
