Missed period and negative pregnancy test.am I pregnant?
Ok here is my situation. My last period was on March 29. I am very regular and I'm not on any birth control. About two weeks after my last period I started spotting. I had unprotected sex the night before I started spotting wich kind of freaked me out(I never had spotting before). Well I missed my period for April and I'm now 3 weeks late. I took 4 pregnancy tests and they were all negative.Ive been having symptoms like sore breasts, nausea, tired all the time and mood swings like crazy. I have just had this feeling that I'm pregnant ever since the day I started spotting. I am really confused and was hoping for some advice. Could I still be pregnant even if the pregnancy tests said no? I would appreciate and help or advice.

Be sure you are taking the tests first thing in the morning, if you have not. That bit if detail is important as that is when the concentration of hCG is the highest.

If it is still coming out negative, then it is time to visit the doctor for a blood test.

It is always possible that you are pregnant, I know that I knew better from my own intuition than from negative results.

So, make an appointment for a blood test. If it is positive, then you need a prenatal exam. If it is negative, you need to find out why you are so late.

If the test say you are not pregnant, then you are not pregnant. Chances of even an at home test being wrong are like one in 100,000. I studied medicine and have been through the "Holy %$#@!, are we pregnant?" worries before, several times. There are medical disorders that easily explain your symptoms but don't get worried that something's wrong. Women skip periods; it just happens. The tests are, I'm sure, out of precaution. A couple missed diagnoses are enough to ruin a gynecologist. So he's going to cover his butt. Don't worry, when your period comes though it will be a big one.
