When should we prune our Hibiscus tree?

Gobee, I don't know where you live, but if you are in Australia, you should wait until August or September to prune. Late fall and winter are not good times to prune because you expose pruned areas to frost damage. Since it is a tropical planting, you need to protect it from any cold weather damage that might occur.

Here is a link to a website that gives you all info on Hibiscus. There is a wealth of information on this site! Scroll down until you hit the "pruning" info. Hope this helps.

I am not an complete expert, but to the best of my knowledge, it should be trimmer after the blooms drop to make way for newer buds.
