There was a movie I saw when I was little. Possible early 70's. There was a swarm of fire bugs? I can remember a woman talking on the telephone and her ear got burned because the bugs had invaded the telephone. I remember a car burning with it's occupants because they came through the tailpipe. At the end of the movie, a man had the bugs housed in cages at his house. I know the bugs attacked him; he ran outside and fell into a hole. Anyone remember something like this :confused: :confused:

Sounds like SWARM to me. It was with bees or wasps though.

Yes I remember this movie. I think Bradford Dillman was the scientist. Or that could be another one. Could be titled BUG. The bugs looked like big cockroaches and had a little battery or something they went bzzzt with to start fires. They kept getting smarter and spelled out words on the wall. Also they were mutating and finally grew wings.
