    Grampa worries
    Kids, dogs and dead lawn
There are always large numbers of children in my back yard that come to play with my grandson who lives with me. We also have two large male dogs. The lawn gets abused every day. There are large dead spots everywhere. Is there a variety of lawn seed that I can use it fill in these spots that is hardy enough to withstand the abuse?

I think Kentucky fesque (I can't spell it) is a good rugged grass.
Also, are these spots like a burn spot - maybe where the dogs urinate all the time?

A friend who works for the city recommended Western Parks seed. That is what they use on boulevards and playgrounds.
