Need to know where my dad is.dont know what he looks like never seen him.its been 39 years. I heard from one of my relitives that he is alive.have no real details. Want to know why he left my mom after I was born. He also has 3 others that he left. Also has other children after the fact.disfuntional-ness has ruined most of my life and,siblings lives also.Please tell me what to do or how to find him without having to shell out a lot of money on finding his A..

So what is his name, about what is his age, race and nationality,
Where was he living ( at least state) the last anyone knew anything about him. Does he have any brothers, or sisters that you have any info on?

He is african american. I think he was born in North Carolina. Should be in his late 50s. The family he left lives in brooklyn. Don't know if he has brothers and sisters.his name is cluade anderson.:confused: :( :mad:

If he obviosly doesn't have any interest (sorry if that's harsh) why may I ask are you wanting to find him since you don't seem too happy with him. I would probably just leave it alone. If you are having closure issues I think there are proabably better solutions then finding him just to be angry with him. Maybe Im reading into it worng but it doesn't seem like you simply want to be reuinited with your dad.

Do you have a middle initial.?

For example there are 145 people with that first and last name listed in NY state ( if you can throw out those with wrong middle initial, you may have a list to start calling, if you don't mind calling a few dozen

No No No... My Dad tried to look for me when I turned 9 and my mother just recently told me about it. I mean you can't find him right? Imagine how much harder it is to find a kid?? No Address No Bills No Nothing To Locate You!! Don't give up he might still be out there! And he might have looked or be looking for you... Don't lose hope!

If you know his full name, you can go online and look it up under the white pages, just start in one state and go thruogh all of them. I had the same problem , my dad left my mom when I was three, and 10 years ago I found him living in North Carolina. I had only his name and approximately where he has lived or was born and started from there. Afterwards you just have to write down phone numbers and start calling and asking. The Social Security Administration won't help, and if he was in the military they won't tell you anything either, so just keep trying the internet and the placing ads online, maybe he will see them.
