    Being bonded is basically the process of finding a bonding company that is willing to take the risk for a large enough premium, and will differ from company to company that bonds.

    The size of the bond, what the bond is for, how long it was from the felonly, if you are still on parole or probation and it happened 6 months ago, and you need this for working in a drug store, most likely no
    The way you find out is apply for the bonds and let them do the underwriting on it.

    The Padre is right. You're asking someone to take a risk. For some honest joe, he'll be charged 10% of the bond (yeah, it's just like a bailbond). I'm sure he can be underwritten, maybe for more than your average 10%, however.
