How to tell if things contain silicone?
    Hey all!
Don't know where to post this really but here it is:

My doctor told me not to use shampoo with silicone in it bur didn't tell me what shapoo's have silicone or not in them.
So how do I tell on the ingredients if a shampoo contains alcohol?

    Thanks!

Well, manufacturers have to list what's in their shampoos, so you want to look for silicones in the ingredients on the back of the packet..

Yea that I understand but what names do they go by?
Found out that dimethicone is a very comon silicone in shampoo.
Any other names to look out for?

    Thanks!
