    Haircolor faded by the sun.
 how do I repair my roots from sun fade? Sat yesterday... pure sun... oops... watching George Clooney filming his new movie... LEATHERHEADS. If anyone can tell me how to fix this... my roots are blonde... the rest is brown... thanks

Now you know why you should keep your head covered when in the sun if you have dyed hair. You can probably dye just the roots again with same colour, as is done with re-growth.

Simply choose a shade that's closet to your natural color and apply the hair color mixture to the sun lightened roots. This should fix the problem.

Yes, you should definitely get a deep conditioner. It's good for the hair. I would recommend using a deep conditioning treatment once a week if you spend a lot of time outdoors.

You may also like to try brown hair mascara (or if it happens again) I have used blonde hair mascara many times for small root touch ups before returning to the salon. You may ALSO get these wonderful items called: color deposting shampoo, condtioners, moisturizer (they are AWESOME) really good for people that;dye there hair a lot, like to try new shades without comitment, brighten up current haircolor. ARTec makes them but ALSO other companies are starting too also but not as strong. Hope that helped have a blessed day! :)

Occasionally I use olive oil for a hot oil treatment. I put an ounce in a shot glass and heat it up in the microwave, make sure it is not too hot and apply it your hair, massage in, get a nice hot towel that has been soaking in hot water, wring well and wrap your hair in the towel for five minutes. Washes out very well with any shampoo.
