I read your post all the way to H. pylori and stopped right there. Yes, H. pylori can, and does, cause bad breath. How many times have you had this treated? When was your last test to make sure the pylori is gone?

Even though it's not directly related to your air passages from nose to lungs, having what we call "tonsil stones" in the tonsils or adenoids could wind bad breath through the nose (this isn't typical though)

I would try a nasal irrigator to clear out the entire nasal passage, and if that doesn't directly help I would see an ENT on the problem

Sometimes a condition called chronic rhinitis can cause bad breath. Recurrent colds in the past may cause chronic rhinitis in later life, because of damage to the inner lining of the nose.
It can cause scabs of mucus to form and adhere to the inner side of the nostrils, or even cause intermittent blockage of a nostril.
Since chronic rhinitis does not cause too many symptoms, it is often missed.
Bad breath is how chronic rhinitis sometimes manifests.

There is often a history of repeated attacks of tonsillitis and adenoid enlargement earlier in life, in many cases.

Chronic Gastritis too, can sometimes cause bad breath. B. pylori infection may be periodical, so repeated checks might be needed to rule it out.

The remedy would depend upon the cause, I suppose, so it would be difficult to say what exactly might help.

However, you could certainly do Pranayam (a form of controlled breathing, often taught in Yoga schools) several times a daily... it is safe and keeps you healthy, as well. So you would lose nothing if you do it. Perhaps it will reduce the problem of your Halitosis, too!

When you brush your teeth, brushing your tongue as well can lessen bad breath.
