this is a hw question & the mutiple choice answers are sales revenue, accounts receivable, cash & retained earnings

My answer would be unearned revenue, but for multiple choice I would pick sales revenue, but I may not be right, but I did just get a b in accounting if that matters... lol,, but don't take my advice read your book!!

From the sounds of it, you are sending the bill to someone.

Therefore, the JE would be:

Dr. AR 800
Cr. Sales 800

So you would debit AR.
