    Are probation and police conjoined
 my father told me that the police were up to my house a couple of times and said that I had a warrant also on my disclorsure it said that there was aprx.$8000in generators and welders that I had left to be charged with but its been like 5 months and nothing has come up.. When I was talking to my probation officer he told me that I didn't have a warrant and that the police and probation were separate matters. He wants to meet with me tommrow at 2pm should I go??

If your PO wants to meet with you, you go! As to the rest, your explanation is pretty disjointed so its hard to tell anything. What are you on probation for?

Probation works for the courts or the department of corrections, both are certified Peace Officers and both have power of arrest.

If the police came to your house, a arrest warrant would not list property but a crime, only a search warrant would list property. So perhaps they came to search for some property.

But if you don't show up for the probation officer, I know there will be a warrant for you, for violation of probation, as far as anything else, you havve to face those charges as they happen
